Pokémon Go GPS-powered mobile game for iOS and Android brings Pokémon into the real world

Nintendo just announced a real-world, GPS-powered mobile game called Pokémon Go. It lets you find and battle virtual Pokémon with your smartphone, or by using this weird Pokémon Go Plus smartwatch.

The Pokémon Company has announced a new mobile game called Pokémon Go, produced in collaboration with Nintendo and Niantic, the former Google subsidiary behind the Ingress augmented reality game. Pokémon Go looks to follow in the footsteps of Ingress, letting players find virtual Pokémon and do battle in the real world, powered by GPS. Niantic broke away from Google after the Alphabet reorganization.

Nintendo is developing a companion smartwatch device called Pokémon Go Plus, designed to help you take part in the game's world without having to stare at your phone all day. The Pokéball-shaped device will vibrate and light up when you get near to a Pokémon in the real world. Tsunekazu Ishihara, the CEO of The Pokémon Company, said in a press conference today that he'd been working on Pokémon Go with late Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata for around two years.

Instead of searching your phone everywhere, just ask Google where your phone is, and the search engine giant will answer you the exact place where you left your smartphone.

 Google has discharged another highlight to scan for your lost phone or tablet.

 Google unveiled a new feature on Wednesday that lets you search for your Android smartphone or tablet using the search engine on your desktop computer.

How does it work?

Log-in to the same Google account on your desktop computer’s browser that you use on your Android smartphone, but before that make sure you must have the latest version of the Google app installed on your smartphone. Touch Update if not updated.

Now type "Find my phone" into Google's search engine, and that’s it.

If you have more Device than one you can Choose which one your want to locate..

As soon as you press the enter or ALLOW button click Accept button , Google will contact and display a map that eventually shows you a location on the map that is accurate to a certain distance, as for example, the map showed me the location of my smartphone was accurate to 12 meters.

 However, what if your phone is not visible to you?

Google also offers you a Ring button on the map in order to pinpoint your phone.
You just need to click on Ring icon and the search engine giant will ring your smartphone at full volume for up to five minutes. Moreover, once you hand on it, simply press the power button to turn off the ringing.

Known as Android Device Manager can also help you locate and ring your Android devices.

 Also in case your Android device has been stolen, this feature helps you to factory reset your device remotely and reset the password if the device is recovered or erase its data.

That's both smartphones and tablets.
Following that milestone and nary a peep at Google I/O in June, it's safe to say that a new version of Android is in order.
Following the firmly set patterns of matching up sweets with the alphabet, Android 4.4 has been officially dubbed as "KitKat."

Given that the American chocolate bar brand is owned by Hershey's, it was quickly questioned as to how and why Google went in this direction. (Clarification: The brand KitKat is owned by Nestle worldwide, but the name is licensed for use and manufactured by Hershey's in the United States.)

There is a new variant of the OpFake mobile malware making the rounds, and this version comes bundled with a version of the legitimate Opera Mini mobile browser. The malware targets Android phones and steals money from victims by sending SMS messages without the user's knowledge to premium-rate numbers and also collects data about the device it infects.
Researchers at GFI Labs discovered the new variant of OpFake in recent days, and found that, unlike older versions of the malware that disguised itself as Opera Mini, this version actually downloads a copy of the mobile browser. The attackers have set up a fake Opera Mini Web site that encourages users to download the browser. Clicking on the link on the site begins the installation routine for the malware, downloading a package called "opera_mini_65.apk".
