Apple just experienced Bendgate with reports of its iPhone 6 Plus facing bending issues. Samsung is now facing Gapgate as customers report Galaxy Note 4 has a gap defect around its display. 

The gap in their device is thick enough to fit 2 sheets of A4 bond papers or a slightly thicker business card. It may seem like a harmless design issue, but it might affect the internals of the Note 4 in the long run since dust, lint, and even water could easily penetrate the device

It’s not clear how widespread the issue is, considering that Samsung’s South Korean Galaxy Note 4 launch day sales amounted to around 30,000 units, or all available stock Samsung had on hand, but apparently the company is aware of the issue.

 Considering that Samsung has rushed Galaxy Note 4 launch, at least in its home country, to better counter the iPhone 6 record sales, it’s likely this screen separation issue is a limited manufacturing problem that will be corrected before it becomes Samsung’s “Gapgate,” or something similar, once the handset launches in more markets next month.

The iPhone 5C will sell for $99 in the United States for a 16GB model and $199 for a 32GB model.
Pre-orders start on Sept. 13 and the iPhone 5C will go on sale on Sept. 20 in the United States, China, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, Singapore and the United Kingdom.
By December, the iPhone 5C will be available in over 100 countries and on 270 carriers.

Running with the latest iOS 7 the iPhone 5C has the same physical dimension as the iPhone 5 and iPhone 5S, the iPhone 5C comes in the following colors: blue, green, yellow, pink and white.

Made  of soft silicon rubber rather than anodized aluminum fifth-generation iPod touch,
4-inch retina display and features the Lightning connector shared by the iPhone 5, iPad mini and full-sized iPad.

It has an A6 chip and a steel-reinforced structure. It also has a slightly larger battery than the iPhone 5.


The iPhone 5C's iSight camera has a 3x video zoom and a new Facetime HD camera. The rear camera is 8-megapixel, has backside illumination and a hybrid IR filter. It also supports more LTE bands than any other smartphone in the world.

Android is the operating system that powers over 1 billion smartphones and tablets. Since these devices make our lives so sweet, each Android version is named after a dessert: Cupcake, Donut, Eclair, Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb, Ice Cream Sandwich, and Jelly Bean. As everybody finds it difficult to stay away from chocolate we decided to name the next version of Android after one of our favorite chocolate treats, Kitkat®!

Google has reached into the candy jar once again for the latest moniker of its Android mobile operating system.
In a surprise move amid the start of the annual consumer tech trade show IFA in Berlin this week, Google's SVP of Android and Chrome Sundar Pichai touted in a Google+ post on Tuesday that there have been more than one billion activations of Android-based devices worldwide. That's both smartphones and tablets.
Following that milestone and nary a peep at Google I/O in June, it's safe to say that a new version of Android is in order.
Following the firmly set patterns of matching up sweets with the alphabet, Android 4.4 has been officially dubbed as "KitKat."

Given that the American chocolate bar brand is owned by Hershey's, it was quickly questioned as to how and why Google went in this direction. (Clarification: The brand KitKat is owned by Nestle worldwide, but the name is licensed for use and manufactured by Hershey's in the United States.)

Apple has announced the new iPhone 5, offering a larger screen, 4G LTE connectivity and a slightly tweaked design.
The new iPhone 5 - the world's thinnest smartphone at 7.6mm (0.3 inches) - is made entirely of glass and aluminium, something Apple says is "unlike anything we, or anyone in the industry, has made before."

It's weighing in at just 112g (4oz), which is 20% lighter than the iPhone 4S, and has a 4-inch screen, which offers a 1136 x 640 resolution (326ppi) and has 44% colour saturation for more 'rich' colours... perhaps an effort to rival the deeper hues of the Samsung Galaxy S3's Super AMOLED HD screen.
This display gives you access to more apps on the screen, with five rows of icons and the standard four icons at the bottom - first party apps have been updated to make use of the extra screen real estate, and old apps will run with black bars to make sure they can run on the larger screen too.
